This Ytterbium based mode-locked fiber laser enhances the micro machining capabilities that PHOTON ENERGY can offer to their customers.
The laser covers a wide repetition rate range, starting from single shots and reaching up to 3 MHz, allowing for a swift material processing. It offers a burst mode as well as other modes of operation. Featuring a compact design and with its laser pulse duration of 750 fs up to 10ps, the TAURUS laser head is ideally suited for precise micro machining applications.
The pulse energy is 10 µJ and enough to ensure a high precision material processing without any heat induction, enabling processes on thin metal foils, plastics, glass and ceramics.
