Since its foundation in 2001, PHOTON ENERGY GmbH has made a name for itself as a technology leader in the development, research and sales of ultrashort pulse lasers (USP), laser sources and marking systems. The application spectrum of our systems ranges from classical marking applications on metallic materials to high-precision micromachining applications on glass, ceramics or semiconductors. The software component plays an immensely important role in our industry and is therefore one of our key competencies. To strengthen our team, we are therefore looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) in full or part time (min. 20 hours) with immediate effect.
Your tasks:
- Planning, design and support of graphical user interfaces; mainly for MS Windows operating systems (WPF / WinForms / VCL)
- Project planning and implementation of control concepts for existing and newly developed laser beam sources
- Design and planning of small to medium sized software projects; from requirements analysis to implementation and maintenance
- Close and interdepartmental cooperation within the company (e.g. with electronics and sales)
- Interface programming (RS232/RS485/TCP/IP)
- Implementation of database driven applications
Your profile:
- Degree in computer science or comparable education
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 (.NET / C# / C++ / WinForms / WPF)
- Familiarity with a version management tool (e.g. GIT desirable)
- Experience with Embarcadero Delphi 10.3 (desirable)
- Fast comprehension / hands-on mentality
- Very good knowledge of German and English (both at least B1)
